Haitian Metal Heart Wall Art – Handmade Recycled Steel

Beautifully detailed and full of character, this handcrafted metal heart is created by skilled artisans in Haiti using recycled steel. The metal is carefully cut, hammered, embossed and hand-tooled to create the raised heart and intricate decorative border.
The natural variations, tool marks and subtle differences in the metal are part of the handmade process, making each heart unique.
Haitian metal art has a wonderful tradition of transforming discarded materials into decorative works of art. This heart makes a meaningful addition to a gallery wall, bedroom, entryway or living space and is also a thoughtful gift for weddings, anniversaries, Valentine's Day or anyone who loves handmade folk art.
