Haitian Metal Skeleton Fisherman 23"

Handmade Haitian Skeleton Fisherman under a Tree Metal Wall Sculpture This imaginative 23" x 23" wall sculpture by Haitian artist Davens Pierre transforms recycled steel into a captivating work of folk art. Seated beneath a sprawling Tree of Life, a skeleton fisherman patiently casts his line into swirling waters—only to discover he has hooked another skeleton beneath the waves. Filled with humor, symbolism, and remarkable craftsmanship, this sculpture reflects Haiti's rich tradition of storytelling through art.

Each piece is individually hand-cut, hammered, and embossed from recycled steel oil drums by skilled artisans in Croix-des-Bouquets, Haiti. Every hammer strike and intricate detail showcases generations of metalworking tradition, turning discarded materials into extraordinary works of art.

Finished with a protective clear varnish, it is suitable for indoor or covered outdoor display. Every purchase supports our Fair Trade project, Fighting Poverty with Art, providing sustainable income for Haitian artisans and their families.
