The story

Zambeezi connects Zambian entrepreneurs, beekeepers and farmers to the North American market. Its balms and soaps are made in LaGrange, Wyoming.

The beeswax and mungongo oil in its balms come from wild forests in central Africa. Zambeezi aims to give people in Africa's subtropical forests a living that's more sustainable for people and land than timber or strip mining.

Its Zambian partner, Brownd 'Kahona' Kalenda, gives widows meaningful work at a fair, living wage. Zambeezi is a member of the Fair Trade Federation.
