The Utopia Fray Patch Kantha Throw is a handmade textile featuring a mosaic of recycled vintage silk and cotton saris. Each throw is constructed using the traditional kantha embroidery technique, characterized by running stitches. The frayed edges of the patches are deliberately left to unravel, contributing to the textile's organic texture. This piece is made by women artisans in Bengal, with each throw taking three months to complete. The construction involves five layers of recycled fabric.
