The Open Ocean Bag - Crochet Pattern

This pattern was inspired by the open ocean, the part of the ocean that is far away from land, where the 360 degree view is endless waves and sky. Like the open ocean, the stitches on this bag are “open” and worked in the round, and the wave crests are highlighted at the top of the bag. Only 1 cake of Triple Twist - DK Weight Recycled Silk Yarn is required for this pattern, but with extra yarn, the endless wave pattern can be continued to create a “deeper” ocean (taller bag) or wider/longer straps.
