Handcrafted Haitian metal wall art featuring the striking Native Son mask with bold facial features and inventive detail. The hair is formed from hand-riveted metal spikes, while the earrings are crafted from tightly coiled springs, giving the piece a distinctive sculptural look.
Created from recycled steel oil drums using traditional Haitian metalworking techniques developed in the 1950s, each mask is individually cut, hammered, and finished by hand. The textured surface and creative design make this piece a dramatic wall accent.
Suitable for indoor or outdoor display. The sculpture includes a protective coating; for outdoor use, applying a clear spray enamel once a year will help maintain the finish. Handmade by Haitian artisans and produced following fair trade practices.
