Leah Giberson presents a still life of absence featuring objects arranged like quiet evidence of a moment just vacated. A lone lounger with a draped towel and an empty coupe glass catch the afternoon sun, their presence hinting at what has already passed and what can no longer be recovered. The painting’s title gestures in multiple directions, from the literal light cast across the pool deck to Gatsby’s own green light of unreachable desire. Illumination here both reveals and unsettles, casting long shadows that blur the line between reality and imagination. Product Details: With a strong mottled texture and warm base tone, we’ve sourced a Hahnemühle German Etching paper that creates a print with strong colors and deep blacks to give that rich, high in contrast feel. Since the pronounced texture of the paper enables it to hold more ink, this paper gives each print a handmade crafted feel. Prints are shipped flat in a protective parchment sleeve in between two sheets of stiff cardboard to keep prints flat in transit. If the artwork is damaged in any way during shipping, please contact us right away with photographs documenting any such damages.
