Experience the natural beauty and distinctive texture of 100% Peruvian handspun alpaca yarn, thoughtfully crafted by skilled Quechua women artisans in Peru's Sacred Valley.

Using a traditional Andean drop spindle known as a puska, artisans transform alpaca fiber into yarn through a spinning technique passed down through generations. Many begin learning this skill in childhood, developing the knowledge and precision that make handspinning an essential part of Andean textile heritage.

Unlike commercially spun yarn, each skein has subtle variations in thickness and texture, giving every knitting, crochet, or weaving project a unique, handcrafted character.

Made from 100% natural, undyed white alpaca fiber, this versatile DK/light worsted weight yarn can be used in its original color or dyed to create your own custom palette.

Yarn Details

Due to the handspun nature of this yarn, thickness, texture, and yardage will vary slightly between skeins.
