How it’s made:
AArtisans begin with kora cotton fabric, kept in its natural state without bleaching. Hand-carved wooden blocks are dipped into low-impact dyes and pressed onto the cloth one color at a time. Each layer requires careful drying before the next is applied. Some napkins require dozens of impressions to complete a single design. For select styles, artisans add fine embroidery along the edges, enhancing both durability and visual detail.
